Woodland Escape Rooms are a unique, fun and exciting outdoor problem-solving adventure.

Based at Try Woods, Horsham. we have built, designed and constructed 3 immersive Escape Adventures nestled within ancient woodland. Situated on the edge of St Leonards Forest our Outdoor Escape Rooms offer a different and unique experience for those seeking the thrill of beating the clock.
​
Our mission is to work with the natural surroundings using the architecture of the site and what nature provides us with. There are no confines to conventional rooms, walls or buildings, so puzzles can and are often spread throughout the woods.
Teams will have to work together to complete the tasks, often focusing on multiple puzzles at a time. Our twilight sessions add an extra bit of spice, as when the sun goes down, the woods can take on a very different atmosphere.

One of the most remarkable aspects about Escape Rooms are their emphasis on teamwork. Success is rarely achieved by a single brilliant mind, instead, it requires collaboration, communication, and the pooling of individual strengths. Participants must rely on each other's insights and perspectives to tackle challenges from different angles, ultimately unlocking the path to their freedom. Escape Rooms provide an excellent opportunity for team-building, they reveal dynamics of leadership, problem-solving styles, and group cohesion.

Since their inception in the early 2010s, Escape Rooms have rapidly evolved from a niche entertainment to a global phenomenon. What began as a curiosity has blossomed, with hundreds of Escape Room venues spanning the UK.
Problem solvers have not only embraced the challenge of conquering intricate puzzles but also the joy of sharing memorable experiences with friends, family, and colleagues.

Our Escape Rooms are set in Woodland, this is a fully immersive outdoor experience. It's different to the norm and allows you more freedom to explore the natural surroundings to solve the mysteries.

Woodland Escape Rooms require participants to approach challenges from multiple angles, encouraging them to think outside the box. Teams learn to analyse problems, break them down into manageable parts and identify the most effective solutions, these are great skill sets to take back to the classroom.

At Woodland Escape Rooms, we offered tailored activities for Schools and the Education sector . Our sessions are designed for larger groups with an emphasis on teamwork and problem solving.
WHAT TO EXPECT!
As an outdoor experience, we are open to the elements. Unfortunately, the British Weather is not always kind, so be prepared to bring your rain macs and wellies. Although we take every care to make the site as safe and as practical as possible, it is an ancient woodland and therefore you will need to pay care and attention to what you are doing at all times.

All our adventure areas are marked, so you will not need to leave the boundaries at any point to hunt for clues. If you do get caught short, we are fortunate to have the facilities of Horsham Rugby Club on hand for you to feel a little bit more comfortable.
